In 1993, my wife Cecilia and I began looking for land for a new school. I felt it should be possible to do more than was being done locally in K-12 education, and wanted to try out some of my ideas. Two years later we began building Ashbrook Independent School, and for the first three years I was its headmaster. I continue as Chairman of the Board, and am working part time to expand its outreach program. Visit the school's web site to learn more about it!
